Sketchbooks

Pretty much every day, I put something in a sketchbook. They are a great way to kickstart any art session, or any day for that matter. Whether it's just patterns or doodling, or experimenting with colours and marks, drawing something from life of merely making notes, they're a safe place. No judgement. No stress. Some I keep private, some I splash about on instagram. There is always one in my bag and a stack on the go at home.
